Environment friendly technology

Welcome!

LubaCell, established in July 2005, has been connected with elecrochemical industry for many years. The company is a member of Kerbl Group and specialises in production of primary zinc-air cells and batteries. Batteries find a use mainly in livestock farming, agriculture and forestry but also in trasnportation and communication devices as an energy source.

High quality products, offer customised to clients‘ requirements, flexibility and short period of execution are essential for building long-lasting relationships with clients.

Zinc-oxygen saline batteries

Technology

Zinc-air batteries are made in a reliable and stable technology using electrochemical reaction between zinc and carbon couples submerged in a solution of ammonium and zinc chloride. Oxygen from surrounding atmosphere works as a catalyst and triggers process of depolarisation. Depending on a type and demand determined by an application, our batteries are available as single cells or blocks of cells assembled in parallel series.

Features

  • Operating voltage ( approx. 6V),
  • Temperature range of battery operation -5 ° C ÷ 45 ° C
  • Discharge current (approx. 25 mA)
  • Battery capacity (55-130 Ah)
  • Guaranteed storage period: 2 years from the date of production
  • Easy battery launch – removal of the instruction label to ensure oxygen access
  • Energy density (150 Wh/kg)

Zinc-oxygen alkaline batteries

Technology

Alkaline zinc-air batteries are based on a reliable and stable technology using electrochemical reaction between zinc and oxygen from the air. They are made of a zinc anode and active cathode material divided by separator containing potassium hydroxide. Thanks to reduced amount of cathode material, free space in a battery is filled with zinc, allowing zinc-air alcaline batteries to offer one on the highest energy densities among all available electrochemical systems.

Features

  • Operating voltage ( approx. 8V),
  • Temperature range of battery operation -20 ° C ÷ 45 ° C
  • Discharge current (approx. 50 mA)
  • Battery capacity (55-175 Ah)
  • Guaranteed storage time: 2 years from the date of production,
  • Easy battery launch – removal of the instruction label to ensure oxygen access
  • Energy density (350 Wh/kg)
